Terms of Use

Welcome to Jobado! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jobado iOS application (the "App"), provided by Lodehed Labs AB ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you ("End-User") and Lodehed Labs AB only, and not with Apple. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Jobado, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy (available at Privacy Policy), and all applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for complying with these Terms and reviewing them periodically for changes.

2. Description of Service

Jobado is an AI-powered application that helps users create resumes and cover letters. The App utilizes AI to assist with generating content, suggesting improvements, and formatting documents. Jobado is a tool to assist you in creating resumes and cover letters.

3. Scope of License

The license granted to you for the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed and used by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

4. User Accounts

To use the features of the App, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

5. Data Privacy and Security

  • Data Collection: We collect the following personal information from you: name, email address, city, phone number, and the content of your resumes and cover letters.
  • Use of Data: We use this information to provide the resume and cover letter creation service and for in-app personalization to improve your experience.
  • Data Sharing: We do not share your personal data with any third parties.
  • Analytics: We use Google Analytics for app analytics. This data is not identifiable to individuals and is used solely by Jobado to improve the App.
  • Data Retention: We will retain your data until you request its removal or if your account is inactive for 24 months.
  • Security: We use secure servers and encrypted communication to protect your personal data.

6. Use of AI & User Responsibility

Jobado utilizes artificial intelligence to assist in the creation of resumes and cover letters. You understand and agree that the AI-generated content is provided as a tool and we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the content for any particular purpose.

  • No Guarantee of Employment: We do not guarantee that using Jobado will result in employment.
  • Responsibility for Generated Content: You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying the accuracy of any resumes and cover letters generated by Jobado before using them in job applications.
  • Compliance with Laws: You are responsible for ensuring that the content of your resumes and cover letters complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

7. User Content

  • You retain ownership of the resumes and cover letters you create using Jobado.
  • You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Jobado's resume templates, except as generated by the App. You must use the templates as they are generated by Jobado.
  • You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including but not limited to creating resumes and cover letters that are discriminatory, misleading, or infringe on the rights of others.
  • The app is for personal use only and you may not use the app on behalf of another individual. You may not use Jobado to generate content for multiple users within a company or organization. One subscription is for one user.

8. Subscription and Payment

  • Jobado is a subscription-based app and offers a free trial period.
  • Subscriptions are typically annual and auto-renewing. Payment will be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal.
  • Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
  • No Refunds: All sales are final. We do not offer refunds for any unused portion of your subscription.
  • To cancel your subscription, you must do so through the App Store settings.

9. Maintenance and Support

Lodehed Labs AB is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services with respect to the App, as specified in these Terms, or as required under applicable law. You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services with respect to the App. Any support inquiries should be directed to hello@jobado.app.

10. Warranty

Lodehed Labs AB is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed in these Terms. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App to you; and that, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be Lodehed Labs AB's sole responsibility.

11. Product Claims

You acknowledge that Lodehed Labs AB, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including, but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation, including in connection with the App's use of the HealthKit and HomeKit frameworks (if applicable).

12. Intellectual Property

  • Jobado and its content, including but not limited to the logo, design, and software, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved by Lodehed Labs AB.
  • You may not use our logo or trademarks without our express written permission.
  • In the event of any third party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party’s intellectual property rights, Lodehed Labs AB, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
  • The App utilizes third-party services, including RevenueCat, Google Analytics and Firebase.

13. Legal Compliance

You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

14. Termination

  • We may terminate your access to Jobado at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to: (a) if you violate these Terms; (b) if you misuse the App by creating resumes and cover letters for individuals other than yourself; (c) if your usage is abnormal and inconsistent with normal usage patterns, causing undue server load or other technical issues.
  • If we terminate your account for misuse, your data will be removed after two months, unless the termination was in error and you regain access.

15. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Jobado is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lodehed Labs AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the App; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the App; (c) any content obtained from the App; or (d) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This limitation of liability includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from the use of AI generated content, app downtime, and incorrect use of content from app.

16. Third Party Terms of Agreement

You must comply with applicable third party terms of agreement when using the App.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

18. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms within the App, accessible via the settings and terms and privacy section. Your continued use of the App after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

19. Age Restriction

Although the App Store has no age restriction, Jobado is primarily intended for individuals who are typically of resume-creating age (15+).

21. Third Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple, and Apple’s subsidiaries, are third party beneficiaries of these Terms, and that, upon your acceptance of the terms and conditions of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third party beneficiary thereof.
